Residential
Chemical-Free Cleaning for Homes & Gardens
Residential dry ice blasting removes algae, mould, graffiti, and weathering from brick, stone, patio, and render surfaces without chemicals near your family, pets, or drains. Our process is gentle enough for listed buildings and old stonework, yet effective on deeply embedded contamination.
Surfaces we've taken
down to honest metal.
- →Unlike pressure washing, dry ice blasting does not damage pointing, mortar joints, or soft limestone — preserving the structural integrity of your external walls
- →Unlike chemical cleaners and biocides, there is no toxic run-off into garden borders, soakaways, or drainage systems near children and pets
- →Unlike sandblasting, the non-abrasive process does not erode or pit stone and brick surfaces — critical on older properties where original materials cannot be replaced
- →Unlike traditional scrubbing, dry ice blasting removes deeply embedded contamination that physical scrubbing cannot reach, including fungal root growth in porous masonry
- № 01

- № 02
- No toxic run-off into drains, soakaways, or garden borders
- № 03
- Gentle enough for listed buildings and soft historic stonework
- № 04
- No mess tracked inside — the dry process leaves no slurry or water
- № 05
- Restores original stone and brick colour without bleaching or staining
Residential visits are carried out by our trained technicians and typically completed within a day. We cover surrounding areas, garden furniture, and planting where required. The dry process means surfaces are ready to use immediately after treatment.
Things people ask first.
- Q · 01
- Will dry ice blasting damage my pointing or mortar?
Not when applied correctly. We use appropriate pressure settings for the substrate. Sound mortar is unaffected. We will identify any pre-existing deteriorated pointing before we begin and advise on areas to avoid. If pointing is already crumbling, we recommend repointing before cleaning.
- Q · 02
- How noisy is the process?
Dry ice blasting is louder than a domestic pressure washer — similar to an industrial vacuum cleaner at close range. We notify neighbours where appropriate and work within reasonable hours. The noise level is temporary and confined to the working area.
- Q · 03
- Do I need to be at home during the cleaning?
For external work such as driveways, patios, and wall cleaning, you do not need to be present — provided we have safe access to the site and a power supply. We will agree access arrangements with you at booking. For internal or sensitive work, we recommend being available.
- Q · 04
- Can dry ice blasting remove graffiti completely?
In most cases, yes. Dry ice blasting is highly effective on spray paint applied to brick, concrete, and stone. Results depend on how long the graffiti has been present and how porous the substrate is. Very old graffiti on very porous stone may leave a ghost shadow after treatment, though significantly reduced.
